Firefox Portable

description

In my current environment I'm not allowed to use Firefox (standard) but I am allowed to use Firefox portable (don't ask, I haven't any clue why!).

How would you suggest to configure and use that?

At the moment I'm using the Browser-Conifig: Config.AvailableBrowsers.Firefox. That way it's showing me an error, because it can't find the exe (should add it to path). I don't like to manipulate the environment variable yet, so I would prefer to pass the location of the exe directly. Is there any way to do that?

There currently is not a way to pass the location of the exe, but that is a great idea, I will implement that in the next release. Look for it in the next couple of hours. This will only apply to firefox and chrome, there is unfortunately no way to specify the location of IE (I'm sure you can imagine the reasons...)

I did'nt have time to test your new library, but I already implemented somehow a workaround (using pure selenium / webinator, depending on configuration). I just took a look in the changeset and I was missing the possibility to supply the profile path also. I'm not yet 100% sure if this is really needed, I provided the path to the profile from the beginning, because I read somewhere that this is needed (for FirefoxPortable).

But hey! It's glad to see such quick response! Hope more people are going to use this library and that you'll get more good feedback!

Thanks a lot!

I'm not sure if it's needed either, but I'll expose that in the config; it seems like a good idea.

Glad you found a workaround, and as always, thanks for the feedback!
